Nice day to eat lunch out on the deck. (me) To yell into the wind. (Jacob) To chase a red tennis ball down the hill repeatedly. (Ruthie) Ah the Spring.
We’re just missing Daddy on the scene, but we took a quick video to send to him at work so he wouldn’t miss all the fun.
I was curious to see what he’d look like in something other than a onesie. So…there you have it. I don’t like it. He looks too grown up. He’s not even 6 weeks old yet. I guess it doesn’t help either that he really doesn’t have any “baby fat.”
After looking at this picture though, I see a difference in him these past few weeks. I spend so much time with him being home all day that I don’t pick up on the little changes like those of you who are away…or even his dad who swears he sees a change every time he comes home from work.
Change is good though…cuz he keeps getting cuter and cuter!
Well in our case we’re EXCITED that they said snow. We just finished dinner, and were sitting by the fire when Steve got up and flicked on the back porch light. Our eyes both got big and the “quiet night at home” was no more! It must have been no more than 20 minutes that had gone by, and we already had more snow than the past two snowfalls combined!
So…what would any over-excited ex-Floridian do? Grab theĀ camera, run outside and play, and upload the videos to support our “guess what” phone calls to family in the Sunshine State!
Here ya go! It’s looking like we may have some more video and pictures in the morning too – only this time it won’t be a pathetic little dusting like our past recorded accounts. We’re in for the real thing here folks!
*A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER: We weren’t the only crazy ones on the street. A few of the neighbors came over and we made a snowman in the front yard. (after the snowball fight of course)
