Steve and Maria Frey

Well, that may be a far stretch, but at this very moment I am extremely proud and excited to have been born in Philadelphia, PA. A little bit of Philly just made it to my front door thanks to MY ROCKIN’ AWESOME HUSBAND Steve, and PretzelsDirect.com.

For my birthday, the great provider who we call Steve has supplied me and the “Small Frey” with 50, yes FIFTY! Real, Philadelphia Soft Pretzels…I suppose I can share with him since he was so generous to purchase so many!

Anyway, UPS was here 25 minutes ago…I’ve already opened the box, prepared and eaten 2 pretzels, and taken pictures and posted about it. Yeah, I’m that obsessed. You would be too!

Happy Birthday to me.

Last night was the final night of Ruthie’s Intermediate Education class at PetSmart. Really, I think Steve and I are the ones that should be rewarded cuz it seemed like we were actually the ones getting trained! We’re pretty happy with how our little pup is growing up. Let’s just hope this sets her up for the ultimate training she’ll get in July when her little brother arrives!

The idea of posting these so far was kind of fun…That is until I looked at my stomach on a 24″ glossy screen at high resolution. Please don’t look too long at these.

You can’t tell, but the jeans in week 7 are a size smaller and I can zipper and button them. The jeans in week 18.5 are being held closed with an old hair tie looped around the button and they are barely zipped. Trust me, the frontal shot is not pretty…take my word.

Christina, I hope this satisfies you for a little while!

Yep. We went to the doctor, had an ultrasound, and found out that it’s a boy. Steve had a hunch that it would be a girl…however, as is not so uncommon, Steve was wrong. Of course, that could have been his tactic all along.

Here are a few of the newest pictures that we got. For those that look at these things and see an inkblot test, the nurse was kind enough to circle the parts in question.

A cool thing that happened was that as we were watching him up on the screen, we saw the baby yawning. I guess it’s pretty tiring being all squished and floaty in there while you’re trying to grow and stuff. I think Steve yawned at the same time which means maybe it really IS contagious!
