So a lot has been going on in the past month or so, but none as important as this little guy. Steve and I are now the proudest Aunt and Uncle of Brandon Michael Walker.

Stuck-for-life-nickname…Beamer.

My younger sister Diana and my Brother-in-law Ken helped to bring us the newest member of the family. He was a healthy 6 lbs. 12 oz and 20.5 inches long. I put together a website for them to post pictures and their adventures of parenthood…you can check it out at walkersontheweb.net

Hopefully between the baby feedings and parents no sleeping, they’ll have time to post! Oh, and Diana, if you’re reading this….do a post about his bedroom – b/c it freakin’ rocks!

*On a side note: While I was in Florida, I got a haircut…for those of you that know me, you know that is a huge feat b/c I absolutely hate to get a haircut…it’s not that I love long hair…I just hate sitting there so long with the combing and the pulling and the cutting and the moving the head…I know…dumb…but whatever. So, the hair got cut short. REAL short (for me). Short enough to be able to donate a large enough quantity to the American Cancer Society to make wigs for people that probably would wish they could get a haircut.
